• What equipment do I need for trueSTREAM?
All trueSTREAM clients will be required to lease a wireless gateway modem at the time of installation. In addition, the end-user's computer must meet recommended minimum system requirements.
• How do I install trueSTREAM?
All trueSTREAM installations are done professionally by a network technician. For a limited time the $199 Installation fee is being waived for all new orders. The professional installation includes up to 1 hour of necessary inside wiring work.
• What features come with my trueSTREAM?
trueSTREAM service comes with ten e-mail accounts with 7 GB of storage each, anti-spam filtering, online word processing tools, online account access and 24/7 technical support.

• What is trueSTREAM?
trueSTREAM is DSL Extreme's new elite service that offers clients enhanced download speeds and wireless capability through an advanced digital lightning fast network for a low monthly rate.
• How fast is trueSTREAM?
trueSTREAM service is offered at several packages with different download speeds ranging from 768kbps to 1Gbps. Your line will sync at the highest rate it can sustain based on your chosen speed package and your distance from the central office.
• Do I need a phone line to get trueSTREAM?
No! trueSTREAM is offered on a Standalone basis so no land line is required.
• How long does it take to activate?
trueSTREAM service takes 5-10 business days to activate barring any unforeseen problems with the order.
• If I have multiple wireless devices using the Internet at the same time, will that affect my internet Speeds?
If you're using multiple wireless devices simultaneously with a Wireless Gateway it is possible that your speed may be affected. Therefore, we recommend selecting a speed that will support multiple users.
• If I have DSL Extreme Standard DSL service, can I switch to trueSTREAM?
Yes! If your location qualifies for trueSTREAM service you can place an order in our Members section. A new 12 month contract, modem lease, and professional installation will be required.
• If I have existing Internet service at my location with another provider, can I switch to trueSTREAM?
Yes! Existing internet service should not interfere with installing trueSTREAM service. You may experience downtime depending on when you cancel with your old provider.
• If I move, can I take my trueSTREAM service with me?
Yes! If your new location qualifies for trueSTREAM service you can place an order in our Members section. A new 12 month contract and professional installation will be required.
• Can I change my trueSTREAM speed at anytime?
You can change the speed of your trueSTREAM service depending on what speeds your location qualifies for. A new 12 month contract will be required. Fees may be applicable if downgrading.
• Can I change my connection type at anytime?
You can change the connection of your trueSTREAM service between a Static or Dynamic connection. A new 12 month contract will be required. Fees may be applicable if changing from a Static to a Dynamic connection.
